Last days at the Glam Academy

The last days at the Glam Academy have been intense and filled with amazing learning experiences. I learned so much!  From doing make up for a winter themed editorial look, to  a  1960’s Vogue inspired look. We also did make up on ourselves and we were the models. Then Alexa and Brenna Surprised us all by taking us to The Pop up Makeup Show in New York city in a Limo! The Senior course was super exiting (Thank you so much for working so hard for us and making our learning experience incredible). I learned so much so it was difficult for me to say good bye. I meet 13 amazing girls who i will always keep in my heart and I learned to do make up from one of the best, Alexa Prisco.

This is the day we did our own make up to have our photos taken by Alexa. Here I am with my friend Janelle. We are waiting to be photographed:

Here we are on our way to New York City for the makeup show. ( I was so exited walking around and buying make up that I forgot to take pictures) It was an amazing day!

…and the last day at The Glam Academy. This day we shot the 1960’s Vogue inspired Look. I was blessed with the amazing model I had. She even help me with the hair style. I truly appreciate her input and her help. (The first two pictures are the inspiration, then you’ll see the end result)

Glam Academy: Vintage look, airbrushing and Fall look.

This past weekend was really exiting for me. Not only did I start my senior course at the glam academy but I learn lots of exiting techniques and make up looks. The first look that we created was vintage. It was a winged eyeliner with a bold red lip.

The next exiting thing is that we each received a airbrush machine and learned how to do an amazing fall look with them. It was shocking to me how fast someone can do a face with this.

The fall look consisted of a Brown smokey gradient eye with deep lips.

I can’t wait for next weekend to arrive and learn more and more.

Make up artistry: A new chapter

Hello everyone.  I want to welcome you to my first blog. I have been a lover of everything and anything related to beauty, specially make up since I was little. I finally made the decision to take my passion for beauty and make up to the next level. I enrolled in Alexa Prisco’s Glam Academy in Hoboken New Jersey where I just finished the basic course. At first, I was really scared and nervous because I have never applied make up on anyone but myself. In the end, I conquer any fear I had and I learned to do a classic bridal look, smokey eye and I even applied false eyelashes!  I can’t wait to begin the senior course in a few days to learn many more techniques.
